The Basics
- The No. 13-ranked FIU beach volleyball team closed out play in the Stetson University Hickory Point Lake Bash in Tavares, Florida, with a pair of Coastal Collegiate Sports Association matches against UNC Wilmington and the College of Charleston. The Panthers turned in a 4-1 win over the Seahawks, and a 5-0 win over the Cougars. The Panthers improve to 10-5 on the year.

- FIU won its first match of the day, and its second straight, as it handed UNC Wilmington a decisive 4-1 loss.
 
- The Panthers won at the Nos. 1, 2, 4, and 5 positions, with Federica Frasca and Margherita Bianchin (21-16, 21-18), and Anabela Sataric and Erika Zembyla (21-10, 22-20) taking their matches in two sets at the No. 1 and No. 3 positions. Respectively.
 
- FIU remains perfect, all-time, against UNC Wilmington, improving to 3-0.

- In the final match of the afternoon, for the Panthers, FIU posted its second 5-0 victory of the weekend, this time over the College of Charleston.
 
- The Panthers avenged a 3-2 loss to the Cougars, earlier this season on March 2. That loss marked the first of the year for FIU.   
 
- FIU is now 3-1 all-time against the College of Charleston.
