The Basics
- The No. 10-ranked FIU beach volleyball team closed out its 2018 regular season on Saturday with an impressive 4-1 win over UAB at the FIU beach volleyball courts. The win, the Panthers' third-straight and fourth in the last six games, improves FIU to 20-8 on the year and 7-3 in the Coastal Collegiate Sports Association. In addition, the Panthers' win total marks the second-consecutive year that they have reached the 20-win plateau, and the third time in the program's five-plus year history.

Erika Zembyla secured the dual victory for FIU with a convincing 21-17, 21-10 win.
