MIAMI - (Sept. 2, 2018) – The FIU women's soccer team ended the eastern leg of their road trip with a 3-0 loss to College of Charleston on Sunday.
With the win, the Cougars improved to 3-3-0 overall, while the Panthers fell to 0-5-0 on the young year.
The Cougars notched all three of their goals in the first half.
FIU's
Ashley Adams led the Panthers offensively for the second-straight game with two shots directed to the Cougars' goalkeeper. Freshman goalkeeper
Christina Velazquez stopped three of six shots directed her way by College of Charleston attackers.
UP NEXT
FIU heads west to the Lone Star state to face Texas Tech (Sept. 7) and SMU (Sept. 9), before coming home to close out non-conference against Florida Gulf Coast (Sept. 13).
