Ashley Adams and freshman
Kaydeen Jack each earned a goal on Sunday, but Marshall scored the final three points to steal a victory away from the Panthers.
Marshall improves to 4-4-2 overall and 2-1 in league play, while FIU remains winless at 0-11-0 and 0-3-0 in C-USA action.
The Panthers took a 1-0 lead into halftime after a score from Jack in the 18th minute, thanks to a beautiful pass from Kedie Johnson. FIU didn't waste time coming out of the break, as Adams headed in her fourth score of the season on a
Sierra Moss pass in the 46th minute to put the panthers up 2-0.
Marshall struck in the 52nd minute for its first goal of the game, after Marah Abu-Tayeh found her relative Farah Abu-Tayeh a score on a cross. The Thundering Herd would take the lead for good following back-to-back goals in the 82nd and 83rd minutes as Ashley Seltzer and Farah Abu-Tayeh gave Marashall the 3-2 lead with time winding down.

FIU returns home for a pair of matches against Southern Miss and LA Tech, with the contest against the Golden Eagles kicking off at 7 p.m. ET on Friday, Sept. 28, before capping the weekend against the Bulldogs on Sunday, Sept. 30 at 1 p.m. ET.
