MIAMI – Conference USA announced on Monday that FIU men's soccer standout Andrew Booth (Tamarac, Florida/University) has been named the C-USA Co-Offensive Player of the Week. It marks the second-straight week that a member of the Panthers soccer program earned the honor, after Joris Ahlinvi was named on Sept. 17.  
 
Coming off the best match of his collegiate career, on Sept. 23, in FIU's 5-3 win at North Florida, Booth figured in each goal in the first half, with three assists, and netted his first career goal, coming in the 14' minute. He accounted for five points on the night, a career-best. Coming into the match with the Ospreys, Booth had scored just one point – an assist this season at Marshall on Sept. 2 – in 37 career games at FIU. Booth's five points is the most recorded by an FIU player since Oct. 17, 2017, when Santiago Patino (Orlando, Florida/Freedom) had six points (2g) against Marshall at home.
 
This week's Co-Offensive Player of the Week honor is the first for Booth, a redshirt junior.
 
FIU will close out the month of September at New Mexico on Sept. 29 (4 p.m. ET). The Panthers return home on Oct. 3, when they take on Florida Gulf Coast at 7 p.m.
