MIAMI (Oct. 16, 2019) - The FIU volleyball team fell to Florida Gulf Coast on Wednesday night, as the Panthers capped their non-conference slate. 

The final score stood at 25-18, 25-13 and 25-21. With the loss, FIU falls to 9-8 on the year. FGCU improves to 17-3 with the win. 

Sidney Henderson and Gina Lipscomb each finished with 10 kills on the night to lead FIU in that category. Abbie Hughes booked another double-double, finishing with 27 assists and 13 digs. 

UP NEXT
FIU continues its homestand with UTEP on Friday, Oct. 18 at 7:00 p.m., before taking a road trip to UAB on Sunday to close out the weekend.
