Volleyball Falls to UAB

Panthers dropped Sunday's road swing to UAB on the road

BIRMINGHAM (Oct. 20, 2019) - The FIU volleyball team fell to UAB on the road Sunday, as the Panthers began their three-match road swing.

With the loss, FIU falls to 9-10 on the year. UAB improves to 11-8 on the season and 3-3 in conference play. The final score stood at 26-24, 25-18 and 25-18 in favor of the Blazers. 

Sidney Henderson led the Panthers in kills, after collecting 10 on the day. Abbie Hughes posted another double-double, after earning 30 assists and 12 digs on the afternoon. 

UP NEXT
FIU continues its road trip at Louisiana Tech and Rice next weekend. FIU returns home on Friday, Nov. 1 to host North Texas at 7 p.m. ET.
