MIAMI (Dec. 5, 2019) – The FIU women's basketball team will hit the road for the second time this season, as they head to Durham, North Carolina to face North Carolina Central. Tipoff is set for 5 p.m. ET.

NORTH CAROLINA CENTRAL PREVIEW
The Eagles are 1-6 on the season, picking up their lone win against Campbell at home on Nov. 19.

INSIDE THE SERIES
This will be the first time in program history the Panthers will face the Eagles.

JISELLE ON THE COURT 
Jiselle Thomas has posted four games in double figures. Of those four games, three have been 20-or-more point games. The Norwalk, Ohio junior leads the team in points per game (14.2), free throws per game (5.8), assists per game (1.7) and steals per game (1.3) while ranking second is rebounds per game (4.7). Thomas was named to the FIU Thanksgiving Classic All-Tournament team after averaging 12.0 ppg last weekend.

After this weekend's contest, FIU will stay on the road and head to Jacksonville, Florida on Sunday, Dec. 15 to face in-state foe Jacksonville University. Tipoff is set for 2 p.m. ET.
