The Panthers will play 18 games during conference-play, nine of which being in Miami

MIAMI – FIU Women's Basketball, in conjunction with Conference USA, has officially released the conference schedule for the upcoming 2026–27 season.

Heading into her seventh season leading the program, Jesyka Burks-Wiley returns for another campaign with the same coaching staff. Additionally, the team returns four key contributors from the program's 21-win campaign during the 2025-26 season, those players being sophomore Grecia Ferrer, redshirt junior Fantasia James and seniors Riley Burd and Adama Badjie Coly.

The conference slate totals 18 games, nine of which being at home and nine on the road, with the Panthers seeing every CUSA opponent twice.

The schedule will kick off with a homestand at the Ocean Bank Convocation Center, facing New Mexico State and Sam Houston during the opening week on January 2 and 4, respectively. From there, the Panthers head off on their first road trip of the new year, heading to Liberty on January 8, before making the trek up to Delaware for the backend of the road trip on January 10.

FIU will have one more contest on the road at the home of the 2026 CUSA Champions, Missouri State, on January 16, before returning back to Miami. Once back in the Sunshine State, the Panthers will begin a two-game set against Middle Tennessee (January 21) and Western Kentucky (January 23). The Panthers swept the Blue Raiders and Lady Hilltoppers last season, the first time FIU swept both programs in the same season since the 2001-02 campaign.

From there, the Panthers will head back on the road to face Jacksonville State and Kennesaw State on January 28 and 30.

FIU begins the second half of conference-play at the Ocean Bank Convocation Center for their longest homestand of the new year, facing Delaware on February 4 before seeing Liberty on February 6. The Panthers will welcome the Bears of Missouri State on February 13 to round out the homestand.

FIU will hit the road again for their second matchups against Western Kentucky (February 18) and Middle Tennessee (February 20) before coming back to Miami for their last home games of the season against Jacksonville State and Kennesaw State on February 25 and 27, respectively.

The Panthers' final two games of the season will come against Sam Houston on March 4, with their last game of the regular season coming against New Mexico State on March 6.

The 2027 Conference USA Basketball Championships will once again be held at the Propst Arena in Huntsville, Alabama, from March 9–13.
