DALLAS (April 23, 2019) – After being named All-Conference USA in 2018, FIU sophomore Valentina Gilly was named to the 2019 All-Conference USA Women's Team announced by the league on Tuesday. Gilly was an All-CUSA Second Team selection.
 
The Caracas, Venezuela native played most of the season at the No. 1 spot for the Panthers and led FIU with a 72.9 stroke average. She tied for 15th overall last week at the 2019 C-USA Championships in Fort Myers.
 
Gilly led all Panther golfers with six top 25 finishes on the year including a runner-up medalist finish at the 2018 Rainbow Wahine Invitational hosted by Hawaii back in October.
