CHARLOTTESVILLE, Virginia (April 26, 2019) - The FIU track and field team is set for its final competition of the regular season, competing at the Virginia Grand Prix Friday and Saturday. A total of 19 schools are scheduled to attend.
Friday's competition begins at 4 p.m. with the elite discus. Saturday's action will begin at 11:30 a.m. with the women's hammer.
A majority of FIU's athletes are coming off a bye week, after the women's distance squad competed at the Georgia Tech Invitational last weekend.

Clarissa Cutliff is currently tied for second in the NCAA high jump rankings, with her mark of 1.85m.
Terrisa Russell has set school records in the discus and the hammer throw, while on the men's side, sophomore
Reed Service is coming off a third-place finish and personal best in the long jump at the Hurricane Alumni Invitational.
