MIAMI (May 13, 2019) – For the final road game of the 2019 regular season, the FIU baseball team (22-29, 11-16 Conference USA) returns to the Sunshine State for one final midweek at Stetson (21-29, 9-11 Atlantic Sun).
First pitch is slated for 6:30 p.m. ET in Deland. Tuesday's game will be broadcast on

Led by
Austin Shenton's 22-game hit streak, the Panther bats have increased their runs per-game average by an entire run since April 1st. Since the calendar switch from March to April, FIU has been averaging 6.7 runs a game.
Jose Garcia has hit eight of his 11 home runs during the time span, while driving in 31 runs.
Derek Cartaya and
Javier Valdes has added to the renaissance with 19 and 15 RBIs a piece.
LAST TIME OUT
The road trip started with FIU dropping a 9-6 decision to No. 9 Texas Tech in the midweek before heading east for a critical three-game weekend set with Middle Tennessee. The Panthers took two of three from the Blue Raiders by scoring a combined 17 runs on Saturday and Sunday to take both games.

FIU closes out the regular season at home with a trip to the C-USA tournament on the line against Louisiana Tech. All the fun starts at 7 p.m. ET on Thursday when game one gets underway.
