MIAMI (Jan. 21, 2020) – Head coach Rita Buck-Crockett announced the newest additions to the volleyball and beach volleyball programs on Tuesday.

"I think this is by far our strongest recruiting class since our beach program has been in existence," Buck-Crockett said. "I look forward to having this group of athletes on the indoor and beach courts for FIU!"

Paige Kalkhoff | Cincinnati, Ohio | Mercy Mcauley High School

Coach Buck-Crockett on Kalkhoff "Paige will make an immediate impact on our beach team as a premier defender and point maker."

Rachele Mancinelli | Perugia, Italy | Florida Memorial

Coach Buck-Crockett on Mancinelli: "Rachele is a great athlete with tremendous power! She will bring a steady and powerful offense to our beach team."

Emily Meyer | New Orleans, La. | Mount Carmel Academy

Coach Buck-Crockett on Meyer: "Emily is one of the top Indoor and beach players in high school!!! We are so fortunate to have a terminator like her coming to us."

Roberta Ribeiro | Rio de Janeiro, Brazil | St. Petersburg College

Coach Buck-Crockett on Ribeiro: "Roberta is by far one of the elite beach players to come out of junior college. We were fortunate to have her come to us. She will definitely be one of the best players in college ball!"

Bobbie Jo Schwantz | Merritt Island, Fla. | Merritt Island High School
