MIAMI (Feb. 27, 2020) – The No. 14 FIU beach volleyball team hosts the FIU Beach Bash at the FIU Beach Volleyball Courts this weekend. The squad welcomes Webber International, New Orleans, Missouri State, Tampa, and San Diego City College for the two-day tournament, beginning on Friday, Feb. 28.

The beach volleyball squad begins the tournament on Friday with a dual against Webber International at 7:30 a.m. ET and UNO follows at noon. FIU closes the day with a dual against SDCC at 6 p.m. on Friday. The team concludes the tournament with duals against Missouri State at 10:30 a.m. and Tampa at 4:30 p.m.

LAST TIME OUT
The Panthers went 3-1 at the UNF Beach Invitational. FIU dropped its season opener to Georgia State but bounced back to defeat FAU, North Florida and Mercer. Federica Frasca and Margherita Bianchin went undefeated on court one, only dropping a single set during the tournament.

FIU hosts Palm Beach Atlantic for a midweek clash at the FIU Beach Volleyball Courts on Tuesday, March 10. First serve is set for 5 p.m. ET
