MIAMI (March 1, 2020) - The FIU baseball team fell to visiting Pepperdine on Sunday, as the two squads closed out the series for the weekend.
FIU falls to 7-3 with the 12-2 loss, while Pepperdine improves to 10-1 on the year.
Logan Allen hit his first homer of the season in the defeat, as he pinch hit in the bottom half of the eighth inning to score FIU's first runs of the game.
Juan Teixeira improved his team-best average of .564 after going 3-4 on the day.
