MIAMI (March 10, 2020) - The No. 13 FIU beach volleyball team hosted Palm Beach Atlantic at the FIU Beach Volleyball Courts on Tuesday night. The Panthers took down the Sailfish 5-0 for the team's eighth-straight victory.

The win puts FIU at 8-1 this season, while PBA drops to 8-2 this year.

The Panther pair of Margherita Bianchin and Federica Frasca remained undefeated on court one when they took down the Sailfish pair 21-13, 21-12. On court four, Abbie Hughes and Sophia Brandstetter did not let their opponents reach double-digits, defeating PBA 21-9, 21-6.

UP NEXT
The Panthers hit the road for the Carolina Challenge, taking place in Columbia, S.C. The FIU squad faces off against Mercer and tournament-host South Carolina on March 14. The team closes its run against Arizona State and North Florida on Sunday, March 15.
