MIAMI (March 12, 2021) - The No. 13 FIU beach volleyball team topped Florida Southern during a doubleheader on Friday at the FIU Beach Volleyball Courts. The Panthers took down the Mocs 5-0 and 4-1 to remain undefeated at home this season.

Roberta Ribeiro and Federica Frasca dominated on court one, winning their first contest 21-11, 21-10 and their second match 21-8, 21-9. Lina Bernier and Gina Lipscomb kept their winning streak alive, and the pair won 21-10, 21-6 on court four and 21-14, 21-8 on court three. As a pair, Bernier and Lipscomb are 11-1 for their 2021 campaign.

FIU is back in action on Saturday, March 13, when the team hosts Palm Beach Atlantic and Florida Gulf Coast. The Panthers open the day against PBA at 9 a.m. ET and close out the weekend against FGCU at 2 p.m.
