HUNTINGTON, West Virginia (March 13, 2021) - The No. 22 FIU men's soccer team went the distance with No. 11 Marshall on the road, but the Panthers fell 1-0 in overtime for their first Conference USA loss of the season.
Marshall scored the golden goal in the 92nd minute on a header.
Reigning C-USA Defensive Player of the Week
Johan Peñaranda played outstanding once again, as the keeper earned 14 saves in 92 minutes of action. The 14 saves are the most of his Panther career.
Mauro Bravo collected three shots to lead the Panthers offensively, as he earned half of FIU's shot attempts on the afternoon.

FIU returns home next Saturday, March 20, as the Panthers host UAB at Noon to continue C-USA action.
