MIAMI (March 13, 2021) - The 13th-ranked FIU beach volleyball team battled Palm Beach Atlantic and Florida Gulf Coast during the Beach Bash tournament on Saturday. The Panthers topped PBA and FGCU 4-1 to remain undefeated at the FIU Beach Volleyball Courts.

Courts three, four and five did not drop a set on Saturday. Lina Bernier and Gina Lipscomb took down the Sailfish 21-11, 21-12 and the Eagles 21-15, 21-15 on court three. For court four, Abbie Hughes and Paige Kalkhoff won 21-5, 21-13 against PBA and 21-9, 22-20 against FGCU. Rachele Mancinelli and Giada Bianchi dominated on court five with a 21-11, 21-13 win over Palm Beach Atlantic and a 21-9, 21-9 against Florida Gulf Coast.

For the team's next contests, FIU is back at home for the Panther Beach Battle from March 19-20.
