MIAMI (March 18, 2021) – The No. 13 FIU beach volleyball team remains at home to host the Panther Beach Battle from March 19-20. The squad welcomes Florida Memorial and North Florida to the FIU beach volleyball courts for the two-day tournament.

The Panthers have posted a perfect 6-0 record at home this season. Last weekend, the team went 4-0 at the FIU Beach Bash, taking down Florida Southern, Florida Gulf Coast and Palm Beach Atlantic during the two-day classic.

Federica Frasca and Roberta Ribeiro went undefeated on court one last weekend. The pair dropped just a single set during their four matches of the tournament. Gina Lipscomb and Lina Bernier have won 11-straight matches during their 2021 campaign. The duo sits at 13-1 overall for the year when playing on courts three and four.

FIU opens the Panther Beach Battle with a dual against UNF at 9 a.m. on Friday. The team closes out the day by playing FMU at 1 p.m. Saturday's schedule features back-to-back duals for the Blue and Gold beginning at 11 a.m.
