DALLAS (March 8, 2021) – Jiselle Thomas of FIU women's basketball was named to the All-Conference USA Second Team, the league office announced on Monday. Thomas is the first Panther to be named to an All-Conference USA Team since Jerica Coley in 2014.
The Norwalk, Ohio native leads the Panthers in scoring with 16.7 points per contest, which ranks seventh-best in C-USA. Thomas also ranks third in the conference for made field goals (148) and fourth in the league for field goal attempts (319), shooting percentage (46.4%) and total points (385).
The C-USA Superlative awards for Player of the Year, Freshman of the Year, Defensive Player of the Year, Newcomer of the Year, Sixth Player of the Year and Coach of the Year will be announced on Tuesday.
