DENTON, Texas (April 22, 2021) - The FIU women's tennis team blanked UTEP 4-0 on Thursday afternoon, as the Panthers advance to the quarterfinals of the C-USA Championship. FIU will face Marshall on Friday at 2 p.m. ET to continue play in Denton, Texas.
With the 4-0 win over UTEP, FIU improves to 10-0 on the year, having won its last 15 matches overall dating back to 2020.
FIU took two courts in doubles action to take a 1-0 lead, before quickly grabbing three wins in singles play to clinch the 4-0 victory.

Kamila Umarova all earned straight-set wins as the trio helped FIU stay undefeated.
