MIAMI (May 21, 2021) – FIU men's basketball head coach Jeremy Ballard announced the addition of Clevon Brown to the 2021-22 roster.  Brown joins the Panthers following five seasons at Vanderbilt.
"It's our immense pleasure to add Clevon Brown to our FIU family," Ballard said. "Clevon is a college graduate who brings five years of SEC experience to FIU. The combination of Clevon's size, skill, and ability make him an ideal fit for our system and will allow him to be a force for our program right away. We are beyond excited to add his maturity and talent to our program."

During his career at Vanderbilt, the forward played in 124 games, averaging 3.4 points and 2.9 rebounds. Brown logged a career-high 19 points against South Carolina State in 2019. Known as a rim protector, Brown's 130 career blocked shots rank sixth all-time at Vanderbilt and the forward posted a pair of eight-swat games during his time as a Commodore.
