DELAND, Florida (March 26, 2022) – The No. 19 FIU Beach Volleyball team swept the opening day of the Stetson Beach Bash by downing No. 13 Georgia State in dramatic 3-2 fashion and Coastal Carolina 5-0.
 
The top FIU pairing of Paige Kalkhoff and Giada Bianchi moved to 13-1 on the season by going 2-0 on court one, taking down GSU 21-15, 21-15 and CCU 21-14, 21-19.
 
On court two, the Panther pairing of Roberta Ribeiro and Zuzanna Bielak took both duels on Saturday with a 21-19, 21-23, 15-11 victory over the Panthers from Atlanta and a 21-14, 21-18 win over the Chanticleers.
 
UP NEXT
FIU is back in action with the second day of the Stetson Beach Bash on Sunday. The squad faces No. 10 FAU at 10 a.m., and No. 18 Stetson at 4 p.m.
