MANHATTAN BEACH, Calif. (April 2, 2022) – No. 15 FIU Beach Volleyball team dropped both duels on the opening day of the UCLA Invitational. The Panthers fell 5-0 to No. 1 UCLA and 3-2 to No. 9 Hawai'i.
 
In the second duel of the day against Hawai'i, the reigning Conference USA Pair of the Week Roberta Ribeiro and Zuzanna Bielak topped the Warriors 21-19, 21-17 on court two. The pairing of Gina Lipscomb and Emma Erteltova prevailed on court three 18-21, 21-19, 15-12.

FIU closes out the tournament when the team faces No. Loyola Marymount at 1:30 p.m. ET and No. 3 USC at 4:30 p.m. on Sunday, April 3.
