TALLAHASSEE, Florida (April 8, 2022) – No. 15 FIU Beach Volleyball team dropped both duels on the first day of the Unconquered Invitational. The Panthers fell 3-2 to No. 5 LSU and 5-0 to No. 2 TCU.
 
In the first duel of the day against LSU, the top Panther pairing of Paige Kalkhoff and Giada Bianchi caged the Tigers 21-13, 21-19 on court one. On the fives court, the FIU pairing of Kendall Mather and Lisa Luini toppled LSU 10-21, 21-14 and 16-14.

FIU closes out the tournament when the team faces Texas A&M – Corpus Christi at 8 a.m. ET and No. 4 Florida State at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 8.
