MURFREESBORO, Tenn – The FIU women's soccer Team it dropped its regular season final on the road by the margin of 2-0 on Friday night against the Middle Tennessee.
The Panthers finish the regular season with eight wins, most by FIU since the 2014 campaign.
Middle Tennessee recorded a goal in each of the halves as Manon Lebargy scored in the 32
nd minute off an assist by Eleanor Gough.
The Blue Raiders increased their advantage, 2-0, in the 59
th minute off a goal by Idun Kvaale.
Panthers outshot Middle Tennessee 23-10, including rattling off 14 shots in the second half. Junior
Noemi Paquin led the team in shots with five, while
Camille Sahirul and
Arianna Sparrow logged three shots on the night.
In net, goalkeeper
Gwen Jordan tallied five saves, a career-high for the true freshman.

The Panthers prepare for the CUSA Championships, beginning on Nov. 1 from Ruston, Louisiana.
