Fort Lauderdale, Fla. – The No. 12 FIU beach volleyball team (19-15, 3-2 CUSA) advanced to the semi-finals of the Conference USA Championships after defeating Jacksonville State University 5-0, and No.18 Tulane 3-0 in the second day of the tournament.
 
The victory against Tulane was the Panthers' seventh win this season against a ranked opponent and eighth sweep of the year.
