MIAMI (April 7, 2023) – Baseball took on FAU in game two of the three-game C-USA series on Friday night losing to the Owls, 7-3.
 
The scoring got started in the fourth inning as both teams would put runs on the board.
 
FAU struck first with a home run and a double scoring two runs.
 
The Panthers would push home a run with three-straight singles, punctuated by an RBI slash by Ruben Carpio to make the score 2-1 in favor of FAU.
 
The Owls would go on to score two runs in the sixth and three on the seventh to go up 7-1.
 
FIU would add two runs to their tally thanks to a home run from Adrian Figueroa, his first of the season, but it would not be enough to get back into the game with the Panthers falling 7-3.
