MIAMI – The FIU Volleyball team dropped their first home contest of the season, losing to the Indiana Hooisers in three sets on Saturday night from the Ocean Bank Convocation Center.
Indiana won by ten points in the first set (25-15) before a decisive second set that saw FIU battle with the Big 10 foe before the Hooisers closed it out (25-21).
In set three, the Panthers made a valiant effort to come back but, in the end, fell by six points.
Senior Jade Sadeiko and junior Mackenzie Morgan each tallied for nine kills.
Sophomore Savannah Cook led the team with 26 assists while sophomore Mandi Morioka paced the Panthers with 12 digs.

The Panthers continue the homestand as they open up conference play against the Louisisana Tech Bulldogs on Friday, Sep. 22nd at 6 p.m. EST.
