EUGENE, Oreg. (June 5, 2024) -
Michaelle Valentin and
Christiana Ellina are set to compete at the 2024 NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships, with Valentin competing in the hammer and Ellina the javelin on Thursday, and Valentin following that up competing in the discus on Saturday.
Valentin is scheduled to compete at 3 PM PT in the hammer on Thursday, while Ellina will begin the javelin at 6:45 PT.

Valentin will be looking to best her second-team All-American marks from last year in the discus, while this will be Ellina's first appearance at NCAA Outdoor.
Head coach
Ryan Heberling has taken at least one athlete to the NCAA Outdoor Championships every year since he took over the program in 2014. This follows the NCAA East Prelims, where a record 10 FIU athletes qualified for regionals.
