MIAMI – The FIU volleyball program earned seven Conference USA postseason honors — including two major awards — as announced by the league office Wednesday afternoon.

Senior libero Mandi Morioka was named CUSA Libero of the Year, while senior middle blocker Magda Stambrowska earned Newcomer of the Year. Kira Givans collected First Team All-Conference recognition.

Savannah Cook, Jillian Huckabey, and Morioka were selected to the Second Team All-Conference, and Rebekah Pfefferkorn earned a spot on the CUSA All-Freshman Team.

Morioka captured one of FIU's two superlatives after a standout senior campaign. She has appeared in all 29 matches, leading the Panthers with 465 digs, the third-most in CUSA. Her 254 digs in conference play rank fourth in the league. She produced six matches with 20+ digs, including a career-high 29 digs vs. Drake on Sept. 6, and recently surpassed 1,000 career digs, becoming the eighth Panther in program history to do so. She twice earned CUSA Defensive Player of the Week honors (Sept. 1 and Sept. 29).

Stambrowska delivered an immediate impact in her first season with the Blue & Gold, appearing in 25 matches with 20 starts. She leads FIU with 64 blocks, including seven performances with four or more blocks. She posted a season-best eight blocks vs. Liberty on Oct. 24  and recorded seven double-digit kill matches, highlighted by a season-high 12 kills at Sam Houston on Oct. 10. She was named CUSA Defensive Player of the Week on Oct. 27.

Givans earned First Team honors after pacing FIU's offense throughout the season. She leads the Panthers with 356 kills, including 18 matches with double-digit kills and three outings with 20 or more. The senior outside hitter posted a career-high 24 kills at Kennesaw State on Oct. 4 and was named CUSA Offensive Player of the Week on Oct. 13.

Cook has authored a stellar final season in Miami. The veteran setter leads FIU with 950 assists and ranks first in CUSA with 10.11 assists per set. Her 618 assists in league play also lead the conference. She has recorded 11 matches with 40+ assists and owns eight double-doubles this season. Cook set a career high with 59 assists in a four-set win at Liberty on Oct. 25 — a new Liberty Arena record — and earned CUSA Setter of the Week on Sept. 29.

After earning All-Freshman honors in 2024, Huckabey adds Second Team All-Conference recognition in her sophomore season. She has appeared in all 29 matches with 24 starts, ranking second on the team in kills (238). She has produced seven double-doubles, including a season-high 18 kills at Kennesaw State on Oct. 4.

Pfefferkorn earned All-Freshman honors after appearing in 27 matches and ranking third on the team with 203 kills. She logged eight double-digit kill matches, highlighted by a career-high 18 kills vs. Stetson on Sept. 5. She earned CUSA Freshman of the Week on Oct. 27.
