MIAMI – Zuzanna Bielak and Ola Chudzik have been named to the Conference USA Preseason All-Conference team, league officials announced Friday afternoon.

Senior Zuzanna Bielak, the longest-tenured Panther on the team, is coming off the best season of her career. The Poland native finished the 2024 campaign with a 25-8 overall record, the second-best on the team. She went 2-0 on court two before excelling on court three, where she posted an impressive 23-8 record. Her victories included wins over seven ranked opponents, including No. 11 Cal Poly, No. 6 LMU, No. 4 TCU, and two wins over Florida Atlantic.

Senior Ola Chudzik, also from Poland, is entering her first season as a Panther after transferring from Southern Mississippi. While at Southern Miss., Chudzik played in both the first and second flights, winning five matches in flight two before being promoted to flight one, where she won eight more matches. With 37 matches played, she tied the record for the most matches in a single season at Southern Miss.

Bielak and Chudzik are no strangers to each other, having competed together in Europe before coming to play in the United States. The duo finished in the top 10 at the European U18 Championships and continued their success with a top-10 finish at the 2020 European U20 Championships. They also secured top-10 finishes at the 2020 Polish Tour Bialystok tournament and the 2020 Polish National Championships.

FIU opened their season on Friday at the Tampa Invite, where they will face No. 13 Georgia State and No. 16 Florida Atlantic to kick off the 2025 campaign.
