The Panthers will have a quick dual against UAB before their weekend tournament. The Blazers have had a good start to the season, first going 3-2 at the Green Wave Invite, beating Tulane 4-1 before downing New Orleans 5-0, and ending the tournament with a victory over SELU, 5-0. At the Wheeler Beach Bash, the CUSA opponent went 1-1, beating Austin Peay 5-0 before losing to South Carolina. 

The Blazers are coming into the matchup hot, going 4-0 at their home tournament last weekend. The squad beat Houston Christian and Eastern Kentucky 5-0 each, before downing North Alabama in a close 3-2 battle, and ending the invite with another 5-0 win over New Orleans.

FIU will look to bounce back after going 1-3 at the FGCU Inaugural Invite last weekend, with their lone victory coming against South Carolina in a 4-1 victory. Before the tournament, the Panthers had won six matches in a row, including a victory over their in-state rival and then-ranked No. 12 FAU, 3-2.
