BOCA RATON, Fla. - The FIU beach volleyball team will open up their 2026 Spring season when they travel to Boca Raton for the FAU Beach Burrow Bash, taking on Boise State, Palm Beach Atlantic, Coastal Carolina and No. 15 Florida Atlantic on February 20-21.

The Panthers will open up their 2026 campaign at the Florida Atlantic Beach Burrow Bash with their first ever matchup against Boise State on day one of the invite. The Broncos received votes in the first AVCA Beach Volleyball poll of the season after going 23-12 last season and winning the Southland Conference tournament. Boise State would go on to play Stanford in the first round of the NCAA tournament, losing 3-0.
The Panthers will then face off against Division two Palm Beach Atlantic for their first of two matches in as many weeks. FIU is a perfect 8-0 all-time against PBA and is looking to continue that trend this season.
Day two of the tournament will see FIU play Coastal Carolina before playing the host school, No. 15 Florida Atlantic. The Panthers are also undefeated against Coastal Carolina, recently seeing the Chanticleers in 2024 with a 3-2 win.Â
FIU will play their first and only matchup of the regular season against Florida Atlantic in the last match of the invite. The Panthers went 1-1 against the Owls last year, both of which coming in 3-2 results.
