MIAMI - Beach Volleyball (3-2) goes undefeated at the Panther Beach Bash, first beating Palm Beach State in a 5-0 result, before completing the sweep against Palm Beach Atlantic 3-2.
The Panthers' victory over PBSC began on court four with freshman Elizabeth Nye and sophomore Hailey Prodan dominating in straight sets 21-13 and 21-15. Junior Hanna Gubik and graduate Nicole Robison continued with a hard-fought victory on court two, winning set one 21-18 and set two 31-29. A pair of freshmen in Nikelle Lander and Sarah Boyle took court five for FIU with two 21-16 victories, while Katarina Drozd and Brianna Luoma dominated court one (21-11 and 21-7). Isabella Pereira and Kendra Brown finished the sweep on court three in three sets, first winning 21-10 before dropping set two and prevailing in set three 15-13.

The Panthers' second win of the day started on court two, with Hanna Gubik and Nicole Robison winning in straight sets, 21-15 and 21-19. PBA won the next two courts, before Brianna Luoma and Katarina Drozd tied the dual at 2-2 with a victory in straight sets on court one. The pair dominated, winning their first set 21-11 and their second 21-14. Kendra Brown and Isabella Pereira clinched the win for FIU on court three, also winning in straight sets, 21-19 and 21-16.Â

UP NEXT
The Panthers will hit the road again when they participate in the UNF Sand Invitational on March 6 and 7. FIU will see Jacksonville, North Florida, Eastern Kentucky and Mercer over the two-day event.
