MANHATTAN BEACH, Ca. - Beach Volleyball (5-8) completes competition at the East Meets West Invitational, going 0-4 against the four ranked teams the Panthers saw in the meet.
The Panthers began the meet against No. 9 LMU, unable to garner a victory in the contest and dropping the match, 5-0.

FIU saw No. 13 Hawaii in their second match of day one, dropping their competition against the Rainbow Warriors, 4-1. The only win of the match for the Panthers came on court three, when Kendra Brown and Isabella Pereira took the point for FIU in straight sets, 21-18 and 21-19.

Day two of the East Meets West Invitational started as day one did, with a 5-0 loss against No. 10 Cal. The Panthers ended the meet against the host-school UCLA, falling to the No. 1 team in the country, 5-0.

UP NEXT
FIU will return to the Sunshine State when they travel to Fort Myers for the FGCU Invite on March 20-21. The Panthers will take on FGCU and Jacksonville day one, before seeing CUSA opponent Sam Houston and Palm Beach State day two.Â
