MIAMI – Pedro Grifol was officially introduced Tuesday morning as the sixth head baseball coach in program history on June 2, 2026 at the Graham Center Pit.
Accompanied by President Jeanette M. Nuñez and Director of Athletics
Scott Carr, Grifol was introduced in front of his family, friends, supporters and overall FIU community.

Following his remarks to Panther Nation and answering a few questions from attending patrons, Grifol talked to local media in a private reception at the Faculty Club.
He returned to the FIU Baseball Stadium for a one-on-one interview with the Voice of the Panthers, Corey Brooks.
