DURHAM, N.C. – Women's soccer drops their contest at No. 2 Duke, 4-0.
The Blue Devils took control early, scoring their first goal in the eighth minute, with their second goal coming two minutes later to give Duke a 2-0 lead. The Blue Devils subsequently sank two penalty kicks at the 28:27 mark and 38:04 mark in the opening 45 minutes, taking a 4-0 lead heading into the break.
The Panthers' defense held strong for the remainder of the contest, not surrendering another goal to the No. 2 team in the nation. Sophomore Roxy Brewer saw the only shot and shot on goal for FIU in the contest.
