MIAMI - FIU football will host the next 2026 edition of the Willie Simmons Coach's Show on Monday evening, Sept. 14 from Twin Peaks Doral at 6 p.m.
 
Host Corey Brooks will sit down with head coach Willie Simmons to recap the Panthers' 33-20 home-opening victory over Buffalo while looking ahead to the 24th edition of the Shula Bowl against Florida Atlantic on Saturday, Sept. 19 in Boca Raton.

Quarterback JJ Kohl will also join the program after setting a season high with 367 passing yards against Buffalo. Kohl accounted for three touchdowns in the victory, including a receiving touchdown.

Additionally, special guest Manuel "Manny" Niebla '05, President of the FIU Alumni Board of Directors, will sit down with Brooks to discuss several upcoming alumni and athletics related initiatives, including the upcoming alumni tailgate at Florida Atlantic on Saturday.

For those that are unable to attend, the show will also be live-streamed on fiusports.com/TwinPeaksLive and Panther Nation can find further coverage on FIU's social media accounts. 

Twin Peaks will have its traditional Happy Hour deals extended until 7 p.m. for fans to enjoy in the patio area, of which are:
