Hall of Fame
The purpose of the Florida International University Athletics Hall of Fame is to commemorate those student-athletes, team, coaches, administrators and contributors who have attained excellence above and beyond that of their contemporaries and those individuals who have and/or continue to make a lasting impact on athletics at FIU. Originally created in 2005, the FIU Athletics Hall of Fame welcomed its inaugural class in November of 2006 but had no new members until the department revitalized the HOF last year and inducted the second class in September of 2025.
NOMINATIONS
Former student-athletes, teams, coaches, administrators and contributors of FIU Athletics are eligible to be nominated; however, a minimum of 10 years must have passed from a student-athlete's final season of eligibility and a minimum of five (5) years for all others. For a complete list of criteria, please review the
FIU Athletics Hall of Fame Constitution by clicking here.
INDUCTION
A maximum of six (6) inductees per year shall be chosen for induction into the FIU Hall of Fame from the Student-Athlete category each year.
