Shelby Coyle (Pembroke Pines, Fla.) enters Tuesday's final round at the web.com Intercollegiate in fourth place overall with a one-under par after 36 holes on Monday. Played at the Marsh Landing Country Club in Ponte Vedra Beach, the Panthers are in seventh after two rounds amongst the 20 schools competing in this year's event.
Coyle hit even par (72) in the first round, then went one-under (71) in the second to tie four others golfers for fourth (143). Texas Tech's Gabrielle Dominguez leads the field of 104 golfers at five-under par (69-70-139). Purdue's Laura Gonzalez (72-70) and Paula Reto (71-71) are both tied for second at two-under (142).
No. 14 Purdue leads the overall field at two-under (290-284-574). The Boilermakers are the only school under par after 36 holes. They are followed by No. 28 Iowa State (+3) and No. 15 Texas Tech (+4). Sam Houston State (+9) and Kennesaw State (+12) come in at fourth and fifth, respectively.
Four Florida schools, including the Panthers, then round out the top nine with No. 47 FSU (+14), FIU (+15), No. 41 UCF (+18) and Daytona State (+24). FIU will be paired with Purdue, Texas Tech and Iowa State in the final round.
The next highest placing FIU player is senior
Yolecci Jimenez (Caracas, Venezuela), who is presently tied for 28th in the standings at four-over (74-74-148).
Freshman
Meghan MacLaren (Cambridge, U.K.) is tied for 40th at six-over (77-73-150). MacLaren, a candidate for Sun Belt Conference Freshman of the Year, rebounded from a 77 in the first round to hit a one-over 73 in the second round. Fellow freshman,
Sophie Godley (Nottinghamshire, U.K.) is tied for 60th at nine-over (74-79-153).
Freshman
Jasmine Wade (Oldsmar, Florida), competing as an individual, is tied at 87th at 14-over (78-80-158).
Senior
Tania Tare (Auckland, New Zealand) had to withdraw from competition due to injury in the second round. She opened play with a two-over (74) in the first round.

Following the web.com Intercollegiate is the 2013 Sun Belt Conference Championships, April 15-17, held at the Robert Trent Jones at the Shoals course in Muscle Shoals, Ala.
The 20 schools competing in the web.com Intercollegiate are playing 54 holes of stroke play over two days on a par-72, 6,056-yard course. Tuesday's final round, April 9, begins with shotgun start at 8:30 a.m. The awards ceremony will be at the conclusion of the tournament, honoring the top finishing school and individual player.
In addition to host-school Jacksonville and FIU, the 20-team field also features Charleston Southern, Chattanooga, Cincinnati, Daytona State, East Carolina, Florida State,
Illinois, Iowa State, James Madison, Kennesaw State, Maryland, Michigan, North Florida, Purdue, Sam Houston State, Stetson, Texas Tech and UCF.
The tournament field at the web.com Intercollegiate is a very competitive one, with 12 programs ranked in the top 100, six in the top 50 and two in the top 20.

Additionally, Daytona State is the No. 1-ranked NJCAA program in the nation.
