MIAMI (April 16, 2015) – The FIU baseball team (16-20, 7-8 C-USA) will play host to the WKU Hilltoppers (18-16, 7-8 C-USA) in a three-game Conference USA series beginning Friday, April 17. First pitch for the series opener is set for 4 p.m. ET.
The series will continue on Saturday, April 18, at 6 p.m. and will wrap up on Sunday, April 19, at 1 p.m.
On Friday, right-hander
Cody Crouse (3-3, 3.75 ERA, 29K) will take the mound for the Panthers. The Hilltoppers will throw left-handed hurler John Harman (3-2, 4.02 ERA, 25K). Saturday will feature right-hander
Andres Nunez (4-3, 4.02 ERA, 45K) versus left-hander Austin King (1-4, 5.31 ERA, 31K). In Sunday's finale, sophomore
Chris Mourelle (5-3, 3.49 ERA, 27K) will get the start and will square off a pitcher to be determined for WKU.

FIU is coming of a series loss to Florida Atlantic (2-1) last weekend and will look to bounce back versus the Hilltoppers.
The Panthers come into the weekend hitting .269 with 22 home runs and 189 RBI. The team's 22 homers ranks No. 3 in the conference. On the hill, FIU's pitching staff has tallied a 4.10 ERA with 277 strikeouts in 318 innings pitched.
WKU holds a 29-26 edge in the all-time series history.
