MIAMI (April 23, 2015) – The FIU baseball team (18-22, 8-10 C-USA) will play host to the LA Tech Bulldogs (19-19, 4-13 C-USA) in a three-game Conference USA series beginning Friday, April 24. First pitch for the series opener is set for 7 p.m. ET.
The series will continue on Saturday, April 25, at 6 p.m. and will wrap up on Sunday, April 26, at 1 p.m.
On Friday, right-hander
Cody Crouse (3-4, 4.13 ERA, 33K) will take the mound for the Panthers. The Bulldogs will throw left-handed hurler Tyler Clancy (2-3, 4.72 ERA, 25K). Saturday will feature right-hander
Andres Nunez (4-3, 4.38 ERA, 47K) versus right-hander Phil Maton (4-1, 2.38 ERA, 57K). In Sunday's finale, sophomore
Chris Mourelle (5-4, 4.29 ERA, 31K) will get the start and will square off against righty Laetten Gailbraith (3-6, 3.12 ERA, 40K).

FIU is coming of a series loss to WKU (2-1) last weekend and will look to bounce back versus the Bulldogs.
The Panthers come into the weekend hitting .274 with 26 home runs and 217 RBI. The team's 26 homers ranks No. 4 in the conference. On the hill, FIU's pitching staff has tallied a 4.47 ERA with 303 strikeouts in 352 innings pitched.
FIU holds an 11-4 edge in the all-time series history.
