MIAMI BEACH, Fla. (April 3, 2015) – The sixth-ranked FIU sand volleyball team posted clean sweeps over Webber and Stanford on the first day of the Doctors Hospital Surf and Turf Invitational. With the two dual victories, the Panthers improve to 15-1 on the year and have swept the opposition in 10 of those victories.
The day was highlighted by the No. 4 pair of senior
Darija Sataric and sophomore
Marina Boulanger as the duo combined for a total of 25 service aces on the day with 16 against Webber and nine versus the Stanford Cardinal. Both Sataric and Boulanger served eight aces apiece against the Warriors, which were both career-highs.
The No. 1 tandem of senior
