MIAMI (April 30, 2015) – The FIU baseball team (20-23,10-11 C-USA) will travel to Old Dominion (21-23, 7-14 C-USA) in a three-game Conference USA series beginning Friday, May 1. First pitch for the series opener is set for 6 p.m. ET.
The series will continue on Saturday, May 2, at 3 p.m. and will wrap up on Sunday, May 3, at 1 p.m.
On Friday, right-hander
Andres Nunez (4-3, 4.07, 52 K) will take the mound for the Panthers. The Monarchs will throw right-handed hurler Sam Sinnen (4-2, 2.83 ERA, 33K). Saturday will feature right-hander
Cody Crouse (3-4, 4.50 ERA, 33K) and in Sunday's finale, sophomore
Chris Mourelle (5-5, 3.93 ERA, 35K) will get the start. Old Dominion's starters for Saturday and Sunday are yet to be determined.

FIU is coming off a series win over LA Tech (2-1) last weekend,
The Panthers come into the weekend hitting .276 with 29 home runs and 234 RBI. The team's 26 homers ranks No. 4 in the conference. On the hill, FIU's pitching staff has tallied a 4.27 ERA with 324 strikeouts in 384 innings pitched.
ODU holds a 3-1 edge in the all-time series history.
