SCOUTING THE OSPREY
North Florida comes into Friday evening's match with a 1-4 record, dropping its last four contests. Despite the outcome, three of those tallies have been the result of a 1-0 deficit. The Osprey finished last season at 5-11-1, with a 2-8 non-conference record. This season, North Florida has seen scoring spread out among three players (Bredeau, Colubiale, Fischler) all with one goal apiece.

SCOUTING THE EAGLES
After opening the season 2-0-1, including a win over the SEC's Florida and (RV) UCF, the Eagles are nursing a two-game losing streak, with both losses by one goal each. Senior Emma Blackwell received the Atlantic Sun Conference's defensive player of the week after their California road trip this past week, while Tabby Tindell leads the Eagles with her conference-best five assists and top five in goal scoring with four.
Two is company, three is a crowd
After her goal on Sept. 6 at Miami (OH), Madlen Weinhardt now has 32 career points, putting the Germany native three points shy of cracking FIU's top 10 for career points (35).
8.Nicola Bell (1999-03)                    40
9.Nicole DiPerna (2010-14)           36
10.Janessa Taddei (2001-06)       35

Coach's Corner
Thomas Chestnutt is in his ninth season with the Panthers and has guided his teams to two regular season and one post season Sun Belt title, in addition to one NCAA berth and four seasons of 10-plus wins.

First of an Era
Jacqueline Byers' goal during her collegiate debut versus Dayton marks the first time in the Thomas Chestnutt era that a freshman has scored a goal in her collegiate debut.

Weinhardt Scores Late at Ohio
Madlen Weinhardt's game-winner in the 81st minute at Miami (OH) on Sept. 6 is the latest regulation goal for the Panthers since Shelby Bowden found the back of the next in the 86th minute off a header from a Weinhardt set piece during FIU's match with USTA on Oct. 24, 2014.
