MIAMI (Oct. 16, 2019) – The FIU women's soccer team hits the road on Thursday to face a Conference USA foe, as the Panthers travel to play at Middle Tennessee on Oct. 17.

The Panthers and Blue Raiders are set to face off at 8 p.m. ET in Murfreesboro.

The Blue Raiders have posted a 5-8-1 record thus far in 2019, including a 2-3-1 record in C-USA. MT has posted a 2-2-1 record on its home pitch this season. The Blue Raiders finished last season 10-7-1 (5-4-1 C-USA) and posted a 5-3-1 at home.

Three first-year Panthers are making an impact for FIU in 2019, as Ellen Halseth, Yolanda Albalat Collado, and Laura Chavez are responsible for a sum of 17 points. Freshman Halseth and junior transfer Albalat Collado are tied for second on FIU with seven points each in 2019, while Albalat Collado is leading the team with three assists. Junior transfer Chavez has contributed a goal and an assist this season for a sum of three points.
