MIAMI (March 19, 2019) – To close out a four-game road trip, the FIU baseball team heads to the state capital of Florida for a midweek contest with the Seminoles of Florida State.

First pitch is slated for 3:00 p.m. ET at Dick Howser Stadium. Wednesday's game will be streamed on ACC Network+, while live stats for the game can be found here. FIU's game notes can be found here.

AT THE PLATE
Chris Williams started his Panther career off with a bang on March 15th. In just his third at-bat the freshman smashed a three-run homer to right in the 10th inning to lift FIU over Marshall in the Conference USA opener.  

LAST TIME OUT
The FIU baseball team started C-USA play in heartbreaking fashion this past weekend, after dropping two out of three to the Thundering Herd of Marshall. In the Panthers' lone win on the week, reigning C-USA Pitcher of the Week Logan Allen shined again with five clean innings and eight strikeouts. The Panthers downed the Herd in 10 innings, after freshman Chris Williams knocked out his first collegiate homer to give FIU the 3-0 win.

UP NEXT
The Panthers return home on Friday, March 22 for their conference home opener against WKU. First pitch is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. at the FIU Baseball Stadium.
