MIAMI (May 15, 2019) – With a trip to the Conference USA Championship on the line, the FIU baseball team (22-30, 11-16 C-USA) welcomes Louisiana Tech (32-21, 15-12 C-USA) to Miami for a three-game set.
The weekend starts with a 7 p.m. ET first pitch on Thursday before a 6 p.m. ET start on Friday. Due to a Conference USA mandated time change, Saturday's game will begin at 11 a.m. ET. The Panthers will honor lone senior
Lorenzo Hampton, Jr. for Senior Day.

LAST TIME OUT
The road trip started with FIU dropping a 9-6 decision to No. 9 Texas Tech on May 7 before heading east for a critical three-game weekend set with Middle Tennessee. The Panthers took two of three from the Blue Raiders by scoring a combined 17 runs on Saturday and Sunday to take both games. The Blue and Gold dropped their final midweek of the season to Stetson, 6-4, on Tuesday.
UP NEXT
The Panthers will await their fate for the C-USA Championships in Biloxi, Mississippi, as FIU sits tied for ninth in the conference heading into the final weekend of play. The top eight teams from the league advance to the conference tournament.
